Isshin Ryu is a relatively young Art in comparison to a other Okinawan Karate styles. IsshinRyu Karate-Do is an eclectic style, made up of three styles - Goju Ryu, Shorin Ryu and Kobudo. We are a traditional school, with traditional values and teachings, but please do not be blinded by the word 'traditional'. We teach common sense / modern day self defense and we teach traditional Karate. We do not offer - Short 'self defense' courses nor Gender specific courses.
